What's unique about this situation: This project was conducted during snowy weather, presenting additional challenges. Despite these conditions, we effectively managed the installation and provided a comprehensive solution to reduce radon levels, demonstrating our adaptability and commitment to client safety.
Angela had tested for radon in her home and the test results showed she had been living at her property with unsafe radon levels. After some research she reached out to ALS Property Associates on google my business to set up an appointment to get the radon levels lowered in her home. Doug came out for a free inspection and walked her through all the options for a radon mitigation system in her home. Together they designed a system that would eventually run the radon fan to the exterior of the home where Angela wanted the fan. ALS Property Associates would install a sub-slab depressurization radon system in the basement and run schedule 40 piping to the rear crawl space. From the crawl space a second extraction point would be installed and from there the piping was run to the rear exterior of the property. A LV Festa radon fan was installed and vented above the roof line. The exterior piping included a muffler to dampen the air sound outside and a moisture guard to extend the life of the radon fan. ALS Property Associates gave Angela a third party test kit following the job for her to complete another radon test. The results came back and her radon levels were well below the recommend safe levels. Angela was very pleased with the craftsmanship of her system and to be living in a safer home thanks to ALS Property Associates.
