This photo shoot is an example of a multiple extraction point system that is tied into the drain system under the concrete slab in the basement. The radon gas was entering the house through the drain system that was installed when having the basement waterproofed. Many times, these drainage systems create a path for radon gas to enter your home once they are installed. This fan was installed in the garage and vented through the roof. You are unable to see the radon mitigation system from the outside of the home.

This radon extraction point is also tied into another section of the drain system under the concrete floor

This pipe connects the two extraction points and leads to the fan located in the garage

Additional Radon Extraction Point

This extraction point is pulling the radon gas from the aftermarket water proofing drainage system installed to waterproof the basement

Drain Cover

This drain system had a square area where it tied up in the basement. We covered this opening with poly carbonate material and sealed to prevent radon entry into the home. This also seals up the system.
