ALS Property Associates installed an energy recovery ventilator at a residential property in Jonesville, MI. The ERV was installed to help with the high radon levels. There was multiple crawlspaces that could not be properly sealed and a regular radon mitigation system would to be feasible. The ERV will bring in fresh air and create a small positive pressure inside the home to help reduce radon levels.

ALS Radon & Environmental a local company completed a crawlspace vapor barrier in Battle Creek, MI. A 20 Mil vapor barrier was used in the crawlspaces. This barrier is strong enough to walk on and also allows the home owner to use the space for storage. Sealing of crawlspaces is very important in preventing radon gas from entering your home but must also must be installed right or moisture can enter your home if the foundation walls have any leaks. Making sure the barrier is sealed to the top of the walls can prevent moisture from leaking down the walls and onto the vapor barrier.

We recently completed a crawlspace encapsulation project in Portage, MI 49002, addressing concerns about indoor air quality. Our team installed a CleanSpace liner, sealing it to all foundation walls. This 20 MIL thick liner features an antimicrobial coating, creating a barrier against dirt, dust, soil gas, vapor, and radon. The encapsulation aims to reduce the risk of radon and improve overall air quality, contributing to a healthier living environment.
