Concerned about radon levels in their home, the homeowners in Zeeland, MI, reached out to ALS Radon & Environmental, Inc. for a reliable solution. They chose our team for our expertise in seamless, aesthetic installations. Our crew efficiently utilized an existing 3” PVC pipe that had been previously run to the attic but was disconnected. By reconnecting the system, installing a radon fan in the attic, and venting the radon gas through the roof, we ensured effective radon reduction while maintaining a clean interior look. The homeowners were pleased with the results and the discreet design.

This radon mitigation project is on a newer home. The drain tile is laid around the entire foundation and ties into the sump pump pit. We made our suction point in the back corner and tied directly into the drain tile helping us communicate with the entire basement. We also sealed up the sump pump pit with a lid to seal off the system.
